Graphic Designer
Study of the production, elaboration, and editing of graphic products and/or services, encompassing from conceptual design and artistic creation to final printing and distribution. This process includes material selection, use of specialized software, project management, and coordination with various teams to ensure the final product meets quality standards and client expectations.
Art Prepress
For a prepress technician in graphic arts, the focus is on preparing design files for printing. This involves reviewing and correcting technical details, adjusting colors, creating print proofs, and ensuring that the files are compatible with various printing methods. The prepress technician works closely with designers and print operators to ensure that the final products are printed accurately and with high quality. Additionally, they are responsible for identifying and resolving potential issues before the job reaches the printing stage, thereby optimizing the production process and reducing errors and costs.
Photography
For a photography technician, the focus is on the technical and artistic process of capturing, editing, and producing photographic images. This includes preparing and maintaining photographic equipment, setting up appropriate lighting, and using advanced editing techniques to enhance and retouch images. The photography technician works closely with photographers and clients to ensure that the final images meet specific requirements and quality standards. Additionally, they are responsible for organizing and archiving digital images, managing photographic databases, and ensuring that files are suitable for various uses, from high-quality prints to digital publications.
